I would shoot the Nosler Ballistic Tips I have tried the SST's and have gone back to my NBT's. Now with Nosler comming out with an accubond BT I can't wait to try them out next fall. As for elk sized Game I would shoot Partitions, Grandslams, or A frames with my first choice being Partitions just because they are bad to the bone on big Game. Just one Nosler shooter opinion.

Hey eye,
Gotta go w/Handloadr, my vote is for the Nosler. In the UltraMag (mine's a .300) I have gotten outstandin' accuracy with the 165's and taken whitetails out past 325 yards with 'em. Tried some of the SST's I had loaded up at the range, I couldn't get 'em to group with the Noslers. I'm gettin' a tad less than 1/2" groups with the Noslers at 100 yards, again w/outstandin' results in the field! Don't expect either to exit on deer size game in the RUM's, with that kind of velocity you are guaranteed (pretty much) not to see one exit!
