Benelli Nova

Can somebody give me the scoop on this shotgun? It seems that there are an extraordinary number of used Novas for sale that have seen very little use.

Benelli seems to have a good reputation with their semi-autos - did they drop the ball somewhere with the Nova?

I guess no one has any info on this shotgun. Usually benelli makes pretty good shotgun.

Was talking to a friend down in Oregon the other day and told me he just got a nova,said he loves it and has been shooting trap with it and looking forward to doing some hunting with it. I have looked at them myself and would like to get one also. ;) Outlaw

P.S. I think they would make a fine hunting shotgun. :rolleyes:

I have the Nova and to be truthful I'm not that impressed with it . I bought it because of the name and I needed a shotgun for waterfowl and steel shot . No problems with function ,it just feels rough I guess is what I'm trying to say .
