3-d Shoots

Just wondering who here does 3-D Shoots? Some usually start in Feb. with some snow shoots in this area. The indoor ones are already going on.

I usually don't start until later in the spring. And I just do it for the fun, friends and practice. I'm not good enough to be competitive.

I've gone to Pekin's range but never during an actual shoot. I've always wanted to though.

I have shot 3D's and winter indoors for over ten years,but that was ten years ago. I'm just now thinking of getting back into archery because of the great archery elk hunting up in the hills behind where I live in Idaho. ;) Outlaw

I've shot the Pekin (Illinois for the rest of you) 3-D shoots before. It is a challenging shoot & very fun. As soon as I find out their schedule, I will put it on the callendar.

Here in cental NY our outoor 3d season starts in mid march. The local proshop where I shoot started thier leagues 2 weeks ago. The bowhunter and traditional leagues shoot 3d. The target league shoots freeman round at the blie and white face targets.
