I shoot PSE when I shoot compound but my preferance for a bow is traditional, I have 2 Big East bows, a takedown recurve and longbow, most of the time I use one of these two bows when shooting 3d or hunting.

I shoot a PSE Maxis 4. Its about 6 years old and its predecessor for a dozen or so years was a Darton with a "warm" wooden riser but Darton would not replace the twisted limbs "again" for the 3rd time. I know wood can't handle the stess but it sure was comfortable to hold!

Hmmm, I voted but didn't reply. Seems I've missed a lot of threads in the bow section, I must've been busy.

I voted for Martin and my new bow is another Martin. First one was a Prowler Uni-Cam, the new one is a Phantom II Fuzion cam.

I also have a PSE take down recurve but other than an occassional rabbit in the garden (don't tell the neighbors ;) ) it's just for target.

Then there's a Browning something or other but it's very old. I think I'd trust the recurve to make a hunting shot on deer before I'd trust that thing to hit the broadside of a barn.

I'm using a Bowtech tribute with the smooth firing mods. For arrows I use Goldtip 5575 Hunters and either Muzzy 3 blades or Wasp Jackhammers. The jury is still out on the Jackhammer's as they are something that i am just trying out this year. I am hoping to get a good 3/4 shot to aleviate my concerns of the mechanical action interferring with penetration at an angle.

i like hunting very much .iused to go on hunting . last time when i hunted a dog with cross

bow i found it very impressive so if any body is fond of hunting then it is suitable for him

to hunt with a cross bow . here are some pictures related to bow hunting . when i hunted

with a cross bow i found there was no any noise while hunting at the same time when you hunt

with a fire gun it produces so much noise and your hunt become concious after hearing that

noise and you are not able to aim your hunt again but in the case of cross bow hunting there

is no any noise and your aim or hunt remain unconcious and you are able to aim it again and

it was good experience to hunt with a cross bow . i also seen so many videos on national

geographyc on cross bow hunting and i liked it so much iam also interested in these kind of

weapons and i enjoy making a collection of these .the reason i liked

cross bow weapons

so much because you just not only use it for a particuler type of hunting but you can use it

in all kind of hunting and your protection also.http://www.crossbowjunction.com/my_files/images/xJack_Milligan_2007_Bear_1.jpg
