I recently changed to the GKF Dradhead 125 6 blade
because of their cut and their test ratings. ;barney

I talked to a lot of guys that use the mechanicals before I went with the Wasp Jackhammers. They seem to be the toughest of the mechanicals, and they have a huge cutting area.
The doe I shot last year only went about 12 yards. I was really impressed. I have yet to use them on decent size buck, but they supposedly preform just as well.

P.S. The original reason that I went with the mechanicals is because I was having problems getting my old broad heads to tune on my old bow. Come to find out, I had a cracked or week limb and "had" to get a new bow. :D

I tried them Mech's when they first hit the market. The first shot i got on deer knocked it off it's feet.I got back up and ran maybe 20 yds and dropped. And i thought wow,i stumbled on to something here.Well couple years later and trying differant type heads.I lost two does to the same type head(wasp). The arrow entered but the heads failed to open. And the arrow shaft pretty much sealed the entrance wound. So i had no blood trail to follow. They where brand new heads, and they opened freely when i pre checked them.
So i chose to stick with the cut on impact heads. And use the bleeder blades with them.Ive never lost a deer since. And blood trailing is no problem.
I use the 125 gr SteelForce heads on our whitetail, and 145 gr heads on hogs.Magnus puts out a pretty tough head also.

zwickey, snuffers, grizzlies ...
i've been unable to find broadheads that are more durable and as strong as these ... i've never had problems with penetration or flight with them.
i'd like to try the g5's but right now i cannot get myself to let go of the cash of what they cost.
:) :) :)

Rocket aeroheads blaster 3 ( rather than their steel heads ) I used to use thunder heads for nearly eight years. Then converted to mechanical heads, then sought a high quality mechanical head because the ones I had been using weren't up to par. The rocket heads have done the trick for five years or so now.
