I have an old Bear Kodiac Magnum that was given to me when I was kid. Through the years Ive been less than kind to it, but its fared well. Ive always used it for bowfishing, so its seen plenty of swamp muck over its course. But it is still holding up very well.
For some reason I decided to do a little research on it tonight. I noticed all the pictures of other Kodiac Magnums were beautiful laminates. Mines not. Its camoflage. I thought my uncle must have painted it, so I almost started removing the paint job. Then i found one on E Bay, it says "rare factory camo". Ill be damned its identical to mine. I checked mine closer, it has to be factory camo'd because the bear logo (the painted/ silkscreened stuff) and serial number are on top of the paint job. Theres no way my uncle could have masked off the logos/ patent numbers etc.
Do I have a keeper here or what?
