Off Season

Now that archery season has ended for most people, what do you do to keep in top form?

I shoot several 3-D shoots thru the summer and do a little bowfishing.

I shoot 3d around here the outdoor 3d season runs from mid march to mid oct.. I also shoot in winter leagues which run from mid jan. to end of april, I shoot in a traditional league and in a spot league shooting the freeman round.

I lay off my compound for most of the summer and shoot targets with my recurve. Why? Because it never fails that if I shoot my compound all summer long come hunting season I have string problems and have to reset everything and go through stretch during the season.

with my time being short during the off seasons I make time to shot my bow in the back yard up to ranges of 50 yds from the ground and a tree stand we have so few 3D shoots that are close to here and the guys around here have to make do with what we got but we have a good time at it , we have two bow shops here but no ranges but that being that i don't miss to much LOL

I do alot of 3 D shooting in the yard and at a friends.
I like crow shooting,preditor hunting and shed hunting-But im still seeing racks on their heads just this past weekend a 8 pointer.
