Rem 700 Vs Fs

I think I want one in a 22/250.

Im not much of a long gun bull barrel fan butt his rifle feels so good in my hands, and not much heavier than my 25/06.

though this rifle will take some saveing to round up the 750 cash, plus Ill figure 600 for a scope. so its gona be awhile.

the only thing ID do to it is adjust the trigger and start loadn some 45gr vmax bullets to see if like em, if so then id push out the barrel somewhere around 3800fps. then get to findn the rock chucks.

I'd worry about the rifle or the scope first (rifle first unless you come across a deal on the scope). You can always get by with a $30 scope that should stay true long enough to save up for a better one.

well a couple hundred dollar scope would get me by.

I was thinking that same thought today, maybe save up for the scope then get a rifle to mount it on. or vice versa. it wouldnt have to pushn rounds right after purchase. cause its not like Im not rifle less

I would get the gun first too Evan,then work on the high dollar scope for it after you already have the rifle.Heck i bought a 223 that had a Simmons 8x24x40 mounted on it.That worked just fine for all intents and purposes.As soon as i come across a good deal on a Redfield 3x9x50 i jumped right on it.Now i'm a happier camper with a clearer veiw of sight...lol

plus I want one 30gal biger critter getter, 300wsm or 300 something but thats as big as i wanna ever go.( you know moose n stuff)

might make the 25.06 into ackley improved but id be afraid it wont shoot as well as it does now

I think that would be pretty much all the rifles Id need for awhile
