Default Salt Water Fishing ?

Lived in western Washington when I was younger so we fished the sound a lot . Salmon mostly, some bottom fishing. Went to Alaska for the summer of 95 that was the best fishing I've ever had. A hole three months worth. Outlaw.

Thought I would chime in . My wife caught these last weekend , Some small halibut . The biggest for the year and for the derby is 362.9 pounds , last years pot was 70 plus thousand dollars for the biggest halibut , looks like it will be bigger this year . Mostly we fish for halibut and salmon second . Salmon is so pleantyful that you can actually get tired of reeling them in , but that only lasts a few moments and your at it again . I think we still have about two hundred pounds of salmon in the frezer not to mention the halibut , we have added so much this year were going to have to have another familt cookout . It's nice when your father-n-law has his own boat .Here is a picture of the little ones .

SMALL? Those look huge to me. What did they weigh?

Good luck on the derby this year. That would be a great pot to win.
