Default Trap Of Preference

I am just wondering what your favorite trap style is. Mine is conibear style, though I use coilspring, longspring and snares as well as cage traps.

we use live gage for hog hunting. it's the only thing I trap.

Thank you for the Welcoming. I hog trap as well down on the family place in TX. Haven't been able to in the last year, but I try every chance I get. The last I was able to take, was a Russian wild sow who weighed in at 516 lbs, and she had 9 piglets with her in the cage.

We usually pen and purge them, then take them to the local butcher / B-B-Q hut for the "Big Eat".

just went and bought a raccoon/bobcat size live trap at a local feed store. cost was 60 and the brand was havahart.
